Signing of MoU between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan

Bahawalpur: A memorandum of understanding signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan. The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and Chief Executive Officer Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan Asim Rauf. Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar was also present on this occasion. According to the agreement the Islamia University of Bahawalpur will provide more opportunities for improvement in Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan. Both institutions will carry out joint educational and research projects. Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur will cooperate with each other in clinical and scientific discussions, conferences and special steps will be taken to improve pharmaceutical regulatory services. On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan Asim Rauf said that the signing of a memorandum of understanding with a historical educational institution like the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is very welcome and it will improve the teaching, research and regulatory services between the two institutions. He said that the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan is the protector of the health of 22 crore people and especially during the Covid-19 epidemic, it served the country and the nation on a large scale in the provision of the Covid-19 vaccine and other matters. Vice-Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob appreciated the national services of Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan and said that the graduates of Islamia University Bahawalpur are serving in Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan and the memorandum of understanding between the two institutions for teaching and research is highly appreciated.

بہاول پور: اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پوراور ڈرگ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی پاکستان کے مابین مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ مفاہمتی یادداشت پر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پورانجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب اور چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر ڈرگ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی پاکستان عاصم رؤف نے دستخط کیے۔ اس موقع پر پرو وائس چانسلر و ڈین فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اختر نوید بھی موجود تھے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور ڈرگ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی پاکستان کو بہتری کے لیے مواقع فراہم کرے گی۔ معاہدے کی رو سے دونوں ادارے مشترکہ تعلیمی اور تحقیقی منصوبوں کو سرانجام دے گی۔ ڈرگ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی پاکستان اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کلنیکل اور سائنٹیفک مباحثوں اور کانفرنسز میں ایک دوسرے سے تعاون کریں گے اور فارماسوٹیکل ریگولیٹری سروسز کی بہتری کے لے اقدامات کیے جائیں گے۔ تحقیقی منصوبوں میں بھی آپس میں تعاون کیا جائے گا۔ اس موقع پر چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر ڈرگ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی پاکستان عاصم رؤف نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور جیسے تاریخی تعلیمی ادارے کے ساتھ مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط انتہائی خوش آئند امر ہے اور اس سے دونوں اداروں کے مابین تدریسی، تحقیقی اور ریگولیٹری سروسز میں بہتری لانے میں مدد ملے گی۔ انہوں نے کہاکہ ڈرگ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی پاکستان 22کروڑ لوگوں کی صحت کا محافظ ہے اور خصوصاً کرونا وباء کے دوران کووڈ ویکسین اور دیگر معاملات میں بہت بڑے پیمانے پر ملک و قوم کی خدمت کی۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے ڈرگ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی پاکستان کی قومی خدمات کو سراہا اور کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے گریجویٹس ڈرگ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی پاکستان میں خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں اور مفاہمتی یادداشت دونوں اداروں کے درمیان تدریس و تحقیق معاملات کو مزید فروغ دے گی۔
