Message from Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran on the occasion of Pakistan Day 2026.

Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur Professor Muhammad Kamran has said that since March 23, 1940, we have been celebrating this day with great enthusiasm. Pakistan Resolution Day reminds us of the sincere determination and continuous struggle of the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. This resolution was presented by Maulvi Fazlul Haq Sher Bengal. On that day, the Muslims of India declared their struggle to obtain a separate territory for themselves and the Pakistan resolution was passed. Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran expressed these views in a message on the occasion of Pakistan Day. The Vice Chancellor said that our ancestors changed the map of the world in just seven years by following the unparalleled leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other leaders and the principles of faith, unity and firm conviction.  And a new Islamic state came into existence in the form of Pakistan. He said that we are all free in this country and not only Muslims but also minorities have many rights and they are living their lives freely according to their religions. He said that I believe that the teachers, administration and students of Islamia University of Bahawalpur are the guarantee of Pakistan's bright future and are contributing to the development of the dear homeland through teaching and research activities.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر محمد کامران نےکہا ہے کہ 23 مارچ 1940 سے لے کر آج تک ہم اس دن کو بہت اہتمام سے مناتے ہیں۔ یوم قراردادِ پاکستان ہمیں برصغیر پاک وہند کے مسلمانوں کے عزم صمیم اور جہدِ مسلسل کی یاد دلاتا ہے۔ یہ قرارداد مولوی فضل الحق شیر بنگال نے پیش کی تھی۔ اس دن مسلمانانِ ہند نے اپنے لیے ایک الگ خطہ ارضی کے حصول کے لیے جہد وجہد کا اعلان کیا اور قرارداد پاکستان منظور کی گئی۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے ان خیالات کا اظہار یوم پاکستان کے موقع پر اپنے ایک پیغام میں کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح اور دیگر زعماء کی بے مثال قیادت اور ایمان، اتحاد ویقین محکم کے اُصولوں پر عمل پیرا ہو کر ہمارے آباؤ اجداد نے فقط سات برس کے عرصے میں دنیا کے نقشے کو بدل کر رکھ دیا۔ اور پاکستان کی صورت میں ایک نئی اسلامی مملکت معرضِ وجود میں آئی۔انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سب اس ملک میں آزاد ہیں اور نہ صرف مسلمان بلکہ اقلیتوں کے بھی بہت حقوق ہیں اور وہ اپنے مذاہب کے مطابق آزادی سے اپنی زندگی بسر کر رہےہیں۔ انہوں نےکہا کہ میں سمجھتاہوں کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپورکے اساتذہ، انتظامیہ اور طلباوطالبات پاکستان کے روشن مستقبل کی ضمانت ہیں اور تدریسی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کے ذریعے وطن عزیز کی ترقی میں اپنا حصہ ڈال رہے ہیں۔
