MoU Signing Ceremony between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia for cooperation and collaboration in teaching and research. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and Prof. Dr. Haja Rozia Janur, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic and International Affairs signed an agreement. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Hamid, Rector Universiti Teknologi Mara, Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jameel, Registrar and Dr. Abid Shehzad, Director International Linkages were also present on the occasion. According to the agreement, the two institutions will exchange faculty and student to benefit from each other's educational environment, teaching and research related facilities. Similarly, joint conferences, seminars and short courses will be organized. Information from research and other projects will be exchanged which will be posted on the websites by both the institutes. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob said that the agreement with Universiti Teknologi Mara is a part of the efforts of Islamia University of Bahawalpur under which the University is promoting links with other international universities. On the occasion, Rector University Technology Mara Prof. Dr. Yusuf Hamid and Prof. Dr. Haja Rozia Janur appreciated the Islamia University of Bahawalpur for creating links with other international universities and expressed full cooperation from their university. Daddy Faisal Ahmed Salleh, Ambassador of Malaysia to Pakistan, said that the agreement between the two universities would further enhance the existing cultural and educational ties with the brotherly country of Pakistan. In recent times, there has been an increase in cultural and economic cooperation between the two countries, which is a significant step. Amna Baloch, Pakistan's ambassador to Malaysia, said thousands of Pakistanis were living in Malaysia for employment and education, and that the two countries had a historic relationship that was growing.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اور یونیورسٹی ٹیکنالوجی مارا ملائیشیاء کے مابین تدریس و تحقیق میں اشتراک اور تعاون کے لیے مفاہمتی یاداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حاجہ روضیہ جانُر ڈپٹی وائس چانسلر برائے اکیڈمک اینڈ انٹر نیشنل آفیئرز نیمعاہدے پر  دستخط کیے۔ اس تقریب میں پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد یوسف حامد ریکٹر یونیورسٹی ٹیکنالوجی مارا، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر معظم جمیل رجسٹراراور ڈاکٹر عابد شہزاد ڈائریکٹر انٹرنیشنل لنکجز بھی موجود تھے۔ معاہدے کے مطابق دونوں ادارے فیکلٹی اور سٹوڈنٹس کی سطح پروفود کا باہمی تبادلہ کریں گے تاکہ دونوں اداروں کے اساتذہ اور طلبا ایک دوسرے کے تعلیمی ماحول، تدریس و تحقیق سے متعلقہ اور سہولتوں سے مستفید ہوں سکیں۔ اسی طرح مشترکہ کانفرنسز اور شارٹ کورسز منعقد کیے جائیں گے۔ تحقیق اوردیگر منصوبہ جات سے حاصل ہونے والی معلومات کا تبادلہ کیا جائے گاجسے دونوں ادارے اپنی ویب سائٹ پر آویزاں کریں گے۔ اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے وائس چانسلراسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی ٹیکنالوجی مارا سے ہونے والا معاہدہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی ان کاوشوں کا حصہ ہے جن کے تحت جامعہ دیگر عالمی جامعات سے روابط کو فروغ دے رہی ہے تاکہ ہمارے ہاں تدریس و تحقیق کے معیار کو عالمی سطح پر لایا جا سکے۔ اس موقع پر ریکٹر یونیورسٹی ٹیکنالوجی مارا پروفیسر ڈاکٹر یوسف حامد اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حاجہ روضیہ جانُر نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی جانب سے دیگر عالمی جامعات سے روابط کے فروغ کو سراہتے ہوئے اپنی یونیورسٹی کی جانب سے مکمل تعاون کا اظہار کیا۔ ملائیشیاء کے پاکستان میں سفیر عزت ماب ڈیڈی فیصل احمد صالح نے کہا کہ دونوں جامعات میں معاہدے سے برادر ملک پاکستان سے پہلے سے موجود ثقافتی اور تعلیمی روابط کو مزید فروغ حاصل ہو گا۔ گزشتہ کچھ عرصے سے دونوں ممالک کے مابین ثقافتی اور معاشی امور میں باہمی تعاون میں اضافہ ہوا ہے جو خوش آئند ہے۔ ملائیشیاء میں پاکستان کی سفیر آمنہ بلوچ نے کہا کہ ہزاروں پاکستانی روزگار اور تعلیم کے سلسلے میں ملائیشیاء میں رہائش پذیر ہیں اور دونوں ممالک میں تاریخی تعلقات ہیں جن میں روز افزوں اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔
