MoU was signed between IUB and Nepali educational institutions for the promotion of Chinese medical treatment

Bahawalpur (PR): A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Nepali educational institutions for the promotion of Chinese medical treatment. The University College of Conventional Medicine the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and  Nepal Educational Institutions Safal Health Home Private Limited and Acupuncture, Moxibustion Acupressure Association Nepal have agreed on mutual cooperation in acupuncture, noxibustion acupressure, pain management and related fields through a memorandum of understanding signed at Bahawalpur. The memorandum was signed by the Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and Director of Safal Health Home Bishal Shrestha. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar Dean Faculty of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences, Dr. Pir Alam Sher Khan, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif Principal University College of Conventional Medicine and senior teachers were present on this occasion. According to the agreement, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Nepali institutions will cooperate in teaching and research of Chinese medicine. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur will promote acupuncture, moxibustion, and acupressure and related medical fields . Joint seminars and conferences will be organized. An acupuncture training centre will be established at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Provision of medical equipment, videos, and other materials will be ensured to facilitate research and teaching. Research results and other information will be shared. It is significant that the College of Conventional Medicine, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, is extensively working on the promotion of Eastern Medicine, Unani Medicine, and Homeopathy as well as Chinese medicine. Faculty of Allied Health Sciences was established three years ago under the direction of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. This led to the promotion of education and efficiency in Eastern Medicine and other fields in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

بہاول پور (پ ر): چینی طریقہ علاج کے لیے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور نیپالی تعلیمی اداروں میں باہمی تعاون و اشتراک کے لیے مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ یونیورسٹی کالج آف کنونشنل میڈیسن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پورنے نیپال کے تعلیمی اداروں سفال ہیلتھ ہوم پرائیوٹ لمیٹڈ اور آکیوپنکچر، موکسائی بیشن آکیو پریشر ایسو سی ایشن نیپال کے مابین آکیو پنکچر، موکسائی بیشن، آکیو پریشر، درد کے علاج اور متعلقہ شعبہ جات میں باہمی تعاون اور اشتراک کے لے مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ یادداشت پر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور انجینئرپروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب اور سفال ہیلتھ ہوم کے ڈائریکٹر بشال  شریستھا نے دستخط کیے۔ اس موقع پر پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اخترڈین فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز، ڈاکٹر پیر عالم شیر خان، ڈاکٹر حافظ محمد آصف پرنسپل یونیورسٹی کالج آف کنونشنل میڈیسن اور سینئر اساتذہ کرام موجود تھے۔ معاہدے کی رو سے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور نیپالی ادارے تدریس و تحقیق میں تعاون کریں گے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور آکیو پنکچر، موکسائی بیشن اور آکیو پریشر اور متعلقہ طبی شعبوں میں روابط کو فروغ دیا جائے گا۔ مشترکہ سیمینارزاور کانفرنسز منعقد کی جائیں گی۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پورمیں آکیو پنکچر ٹریننگ سنٹر قائم کیا جائے گا۔طبی آلات، ویڈیواور دیگر مواد کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا تاکہ تحقیق اور تدریس میں آسانی ہو۔تحقیقی نتائج اور دیگر معلومات کا باہمی تبادلہ کیا جائے گا۔ یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ کالج آف کنونشنل میڈیسن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور طب مشرق، یونانی طب اور ہومیوپیتھک کے ساتھ ساتھ چینی طریقہء علاج کے فروغ پر بھی بڑے پیمانے پر کام کر رہا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کی ہدایت پر تین برس قبل فیکلٹی آف الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز قائم کی گئی۔ جس سے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں طب مشرق اور دیگر شعبوں میں فروغ تعلیم اور استعداد کار میں اضافہ ہوا۔
