On the occasion of Defense and Martyrs Day, IUB and Divisional & District government of BWP organized the function

On the occasion of Defence and Martyrs Day, the divisional and district administration and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur jointly organized a function at Baghdad ul jadeed campus. Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Dr. Ehtesham Anwar, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar attended as special guests. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Zaheer Anwar Jappa, Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Sameera Rabbani, Shaista Khurram, wife of Shaheed Wing Commander Khurram, Honorable Muhammad Akbar Bhatti, father of Shaheed Captain Sohail Akbar, Syed Tabish Alwari, Assistant Commissioner General Muhammad Tayyab, teachers, students, officers and civil society representatives were present. Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Dr. Ehtesham Anwar paid tribute to the parents and heirs of the martyrs. He said that the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs and ghazis of Pakistan forces are a means of making the dear country strong and stable. During the ceremony, he praised the talent of the youth who participated in the stage play "Azadi Ek Nimat Hai" written by Prof. Rashid Bodla, Government Graduate College. He appreciated the efforts of performing arts students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar expressed his views and said that September 6 is the day of defence on earth, the day to protect the country and this day is the day to send a message to the enemy that the protection of the holy land is our faith and it is our responsibility. He said that our army stood like a leaden wall against the enemy and defeated them. Prof. Dr. Rozina Anjum paid tribute to the martyrs. She said that 6th September is the day of exaltation of military force. She said that the enemy attacked in the darkness of night but the brave soldiers of Pakistan Army became an iron wall and defeated them. She described the bravery and bravery of the martyrs and paid tribute to them. Ayesha Munir, Aurangzeb, Toqeer Qadir, Shahan Baloch, Talha Rajput, Manahal Mehdi and other youths presented songs in the ceremony held on the occasion of Defence and Martyrs Day. In the ceremony, Commissioner Bahawalpur Division, Vice-Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur and Deputy Commissioner presented bouquets to the heirs of the martyrs.

یوم دفاع و شہداء کے موقع پر ڈویژنل و ضلعی انتظامیہ اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام تقریب منعقد ہوئی۔ کمشنر بہاول پور ڈویژن ڈاکٹر احتشام انور، وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر نے بحیثیت مہمانان خصوصی شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر ڈپٹی کمشنر ظہیر انور جپہ، ایڈیشنل ڈپٹی کمشنر ہیڈ کوارٹر سمیرا ربانی، شہید ونگ کمانڈر خرم کی اہلیہ شائستہ خرم، شہید کیپٹن سہیل اکبر کے والد محترم محمد اکبر بھٹی، سید تابش الوری، اسسٹنٹ کمشنر جنرل محمد طیب، اساتذہ، طلبا و طالبات، افسران اور سول سوسائٹی کے نمائندگان موجود تھے۔ کمشنر بہاول پور ڈویژن ڈاکٹر احتشام انور نے اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے شہدا کے والدین اور ورثاء کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاک افواج کے شہداء اور غازیوں کی لازوال قربانیاں وطن عزیز کو مضبوط و مستحکم بنانے کا ذریعہ ہیں۔ انہوں نے تقریب کے دوران گورنمنٹ گریجویٹ کالج کے پروفیسر راشد بودلہ کے لکھے ہوئے سٹیج ڈرامہ ”آزادی ایک نعمت ہے“ میں حصہ لینے والے نوجوانوں کی صلاحیتوں کی تعریف کی۔ انہوں نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی کے پرفارمنگ آرٹ کے طلبا کی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر نے اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ 6 ستمبر یوم دفاع دھرتی پر مر مٹنے، ملک کی حفاظت کرنے کا دن ہے اور یہ دن دشمن کو پیغام دینے کا دن ہے کہ ارض پاک کی حفاظت ہمار ا ایمان اور ہماری ذمہ داری ہے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ دشمن کے خلاف ہماری فوج سیسہ پلائی ہوئی دیوار کی مانند کھڑی ہوگئی اور انھیں شکست سے دوچار کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روزینہ انجم نے اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے شہداء کو خراج عقیدت پیش کیا۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ 6 ستمبر کا دن عسکری قوت کی سربلندی کا دن ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دشمن نے رات کی تاریکی میں حملہ کیا لیکن پاک فوج کے بہادر جوان آہنی دیوار بن گئے اور انہیں شکست دی۔ انہوں نے اپنے خطاب میں شہداء کی جرأت، بہادری کے کارنامے بیان کیے اور انھیں خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔ یوم دفاع و شہدا کے موقع پر منعقدہ تقریب میں عائشہ منیر، اورنگ زیب، توقیر قادر، شاہان بلوچ، طلحہ راجپوت، مناہل مہدی اور دیگر نوجوانوں نے ملی نغمے پیش کیے۔ تقریب میں کمشنر بہاول پور ڈویژن، و ائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور ڈپٹی کمشنر نے شہداء کے ورثاء کو پھولوں کے گلدستے پیش کیے۔ تقریب کے نظامت کے فرائض آغا صدف مہدی نے انجام دئیے۔
