The intercropping technology of corn and soybean projects of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Sichuan Agriculture University China has been included in the CPEC projects which will ultimately increase research and agricultural production in this sector. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur visited Embassy of People's Republic of China in Islamabad today, and met with the Chinese Agricultural Commissioner Dr. Gu Wenliang and discussed the future cooperation between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Chinese universities. On this occasion research collaboration in Wheat, Cotton, and Rice crops was discussed. Dr. Gu Wenliang agreed to further strengthen cooperation in research, faculty and students exchange and other relevant matters. Furthermore, he said that they have included the maize soybean strip intercropping technology in CPEC projects which will ultimately boost research and agriculture production in this field. Dr. Muhammad Ali Raza Post Doctor, Sichuan University, China was also present on this occasion.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اور سیچوان یونیورسٹی چین کے منصوبے مکئی اور سویا بین کی انٹرکراپنگ ٹیکنالوجی کو سی پیک منصوبوں میں شامل کر لیا گیا جو بالآخر اس شعبے میں تحقیق اور زراعت کی پیداوار کو بڑھادے گا۔پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب، وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے آج اسلام آبادمیں عوامی جمہوریہ چین کے سفارت خانے کا دورہ کیا اور چینی زرعی کمشنر ڈاکٹر گو وین لینگ سے ملاقات کی اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اور چینی یونیورسٹیوں کے مابین مستقبل کے تعاون پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ اس موقع پر گندم، کاٹن اور چاول کی فصلوں میں تحقیقی تعاون پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ ڈاکٹر گو وین لینگ نے تحقیق، اساتذہ اور طلبا کے تبادلے اور متعلقہ امور میں مزید تعاون کو مستحکم کرنے پر اتفاق کیا۔ مزید برآں انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے مکئی اور سویا بین کی انٹرکراپنگ ٹیکنالوجی کو سی پیک منصوبوں میں شامل کیا ہے جو بالآخر اس شعبے میں تحقیق اور زراعت کی پیداوار کو بڑھادے گا۔ ڈاکٹر محمد علی رضا پوسٹ ڈاکٹر، سیچوان ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی چین بھی اس موقع پر موجود تھے۔
