Bahawalpur (PR) The 57th meeting of the Academic Council of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar. In the meeting, Director Academic Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal presented the rules of procedure and agenda of the meeting of the Academic Council. In the meeting, Deans, Teaching and heads of administrative departments were present. The matter of Institute of Climate Change and its BS program was taken up in the meeting and referred to the committee for final opinion. Participants approved the curriculum for BS Artificial Intelligence. According to the notification of the National Technology Council, revised syllabus of BS Biomedical Engineering and BS Electrical Engineering Technology was considered in Sir Sadiq Institute of Technology. According to the notification of the National Technology Council, students with FSC Pre-Medical have been approved for admission in BS Electrical Engineering Technology. Also, the Academic Council has approved permission from the Higher Education Commission for Master of Engineering Technology. Agenda issues related to the Department of Translation Studies, Department of Information Technology and Department of Architecture were presented in the meeting. In the meeting, the reconstitution of the University Anti-Plagiarism Standing Committee was also considered. The agenda items of Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, Department of Computer Science, Department of Mathematics and Department of Management and Projects were also considered. The issue of central marking of theory scripts in the Faculty of Pharmacy was also considered.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی اکیڈمک کونسل کا 57 واں اجلاس وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی زیر صدارت منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں ڈائریکٹر اکیڈمک پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال نے اکیڈمک کونسل کے اجلاس کا طریقہ کار کے قوانین اور ایجنڈا پیش کیا۔ اجلاس میں ڈینز، تدریسی اور انتظامی شعبہ جات کے سربراہان موجود تھے۔ اجلاس میں انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف کلائمیٹ چینج اور اس کے بی ایس پروگرام کا معاملہ زیر غور آیا اور کمیٹی کو حتمی رائے کے لیے بھجوادیا گیا۔ شرکاء نے بی ایس آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس کے نصاب کی منظوری دی۔ نیشنل ٹیکنالوجی کونسل کے نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق سر صادق انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف ٹیکنالوجی میں بی ایس بائیو میڈیکل انجینئرنگ اور بی ایس الیکٹریکل انجینئرنگ ٹیکنالوجی کے ترمیم شدہ نصاب زیر غور آئے۔ نیشنل ٹیکنالوجی کونسل کے نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ایف ایس سی پری میڈیکل کے حامل طلبا و طالبات کو بی ایس الیکٹریکل انجینئرنگ ٹیکنالوجی میں داخلہ دینے کی منظوری دی گئی۔ نیز ماسٹر آف انجینئرنگ ٹیکنالوجی کے لیے ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن سے اجازت لینے کی اکیڈمک کونسل نے منظوری دی۔ اجلاس میں شعبہ ٹرانسلیشن اسٹڈیز، شعبہ انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی اور شعبہ آرکیٹیکچر سے متعلقہ ایجنڈا امور پیش کیے گئے۔ اجلاس میں یونیورسٹی انٹی پلیجرزم سٹنڈنگ کمیٹی کی ازسرنو کی تشکیل بھی زیر غور آئی۔ شعبہ پلانٹ بریڈنگ اینڈ جینٹکس، شعبہ کیمپوٹر سائنس، شعبہ میتھمیٹیکس اور شعبہ مینجمنٹ اور پروجیکٹس کے ایجنڈا ایٹمز پر بھی غور کیا گیا۔ فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی میں تھیوری سکرپٹ کی سنٹرل مارکینگ کا معاملہ بھی زیر غور آیا۔
