The 87th meeting of the Syndicate of Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held at Abbasia Campus under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran. The meeting approved the budget for the financial year 2024-25 in the light of the recommendations of the last three meetings of the Finance and Planning Committee. Important academic, human resources and legal matters were discussed and decisions were taken in the meeting. In view of the financial difficulties faced by the university, significant decisions were also taken in the meeting to reduce expenses. Registrar Muhammad Shajiur Rehman presented a report on the implementation of the decisions taken in the previous meeting. The members of the meeting included Mian Muhammad Shoaib Owaisi, Member Provincial Assembly Punjab, Professor Dr. Akram Chaudhry, Former Vice Chancellor Sargodha University, Dr. Asif Khan, Former Vice MNS Agriculture University Multan Representative to the Higher Education Commission, Miss Zahida Azhar, Additional Secretary Higher Education Department, Umar Javed, Additional Secretary Finance Department, Professor Dr. Muhammad Amjad, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr. Khalid Mansoor, Dean Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Science, Dr. Alia Nazir, Associate Professor, Dr. Mughees Amin, Dr. Qaiser Ijaz, Assistant Professor, Zaman Ali Lecturer and Dr. Abdul Sattar Zahoory, Treasurer.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی سینڈیکیٹ کا 87 واں اجلاس وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کی زیر صدارت عباسیہ کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں فنانس اینڈ پلاننگ کمیٹی کے گزشتہ تین اجلاسوں کی سفارشات کی  روشنی میں مالیاتی سال 2024-25 کے بجٹ کی منظوری دی گئ۔ اجلاس میں اہم نوعیت کے اکیڈمک، ہیومین ریسورسز اور قانونی معاملات زیر بحث آئے اور فیصلے کیے گیے۔ اجلاس میں یونیورسٹی کو درپیش مالی مشکلات کے پیش نظر اخراجات میں کمی کے لیے بھی نمایاں فیصلے کیے گیے۔ رجسٹرار محمد شجیع الرحمن نے گزشتہ اجلاس میں کیے گیے فیصلوں پر عملدرآمد کی رپورٹ پیش کی۔ اجلاس کے ممبران میں میاں محمد شعیب اویسی ، ممبر صوبائی اسمبلی پنجاب، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اکرم چوہدری، سابق وائس چانسلر سرگودھا یونیورسٹی، ڈاکٹر راؤ آصف خان سابق وائس ایم این ایس ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی ملتان نمائندہ ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن، مس زاہدہ اظہر  ایڈیشنل سیکریٹری ہائر ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ، عمر جاوید ایڈیشنل سیکریٹری فنانس ڈیپارٹمنٹ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد امجد ڈین فیکلٹی آف انجینئرنگ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر خالد منصور، ڈین فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینمل سائنس، ڈاکٹر عالیہ نذیر، ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، ڈاکٹر مغیث امین، ڈاکٹر قیصر اعجاز اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر، زمان علی لیکچرار اور ڈاکٹر عبدالستار ظہوری خزانہ دار شامل تھے۔
