The Directorate of Students Affairs of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur conducted the Tech Lancer Summit 2.0

Tech Lancer Summit 2.0 was organized by the Directorate of Students Affairs Islamia University of Bahawalpur under the auspices of IUB Freelancing Promotion Society. Tech Lancer Summit 2.0 was attended by students from all over Pakistan and graduates of Islamia University of Bahawalpur who have made a name for themselves in freelancing. Speaking, IUB Freelancing Society Advisor Dr. Faheem Mushtaq Bajwa said that various technology workshops and seminars are organized for students for freelancing throughout the year under the auspices of the society so that the youth can improve their future as well as contribute to the development of the country and nation. He thanked the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran and Director Students Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf Director Students Affairs for encouraging the activities of the society.  Professor Dr. Nasreen Akhtar, Dean, Faculty of Online and Distance Education, said that Islamia University of Bahawalpur is playing a prominent role in teaching and researching information technology through distance education. Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Director Public Relations, said that currently $3 billion is being exported from various sources of freelancing in the country, which is possible to increase significantly with the increasing number of youth. The Punjab government is providing modern facilities for e-business and freelancing in the Lahore Business District. In this regard, Islamia University of Bahawalpur has provided awareness about freelancing and online business for the youth through Digital South Punjab, Tech Nation, E-Rozgar Summit and Tech Lancer Summit series. The Techpura project at Islamia University of Bahawalpur through the Punjab Information Technology Board will definitely reach its completion. Additional Director Students Societies Dr. Adnan Bukhari said that freelancing is being promoted through the Students Societies Network at Islamia University of Bahawalpur.  Renowned freelancer Muhammad Tauqeer highlighted the importance and necessity of freelancing in today’s era. A magnificent poetry recital was organized at the end of the Tech Lancer Summit. The event was presided over by renowned poet Mr. Ajmal Farid and was moderated by Altaf Malik, Advisor IUB Freelancing Promotion Society. Renowned and renowned poets from all over Pakistan participated in the recital. The poets included Dr. Zeeshan Athar, Azhar Farag, Tehzeeb Hafi, Muzhdam Khan, Zia Makhdash, Ijaz Rafe, Haider Bukhari, Abdullah Zareem and Mubashir Rehman.

آئی یو بی فری لانسنگ پروموشن سوسائیٹی ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام ٹیک لانسر سمٹ 2.0 کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ ٹیک لانسر سمٹ 2.0 میں پاکستان بھر اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور سے فارغ التحصیل فری لانسنگ میں نام پیدا کرنے والے طلبا وطالبات نے شرکت کی۔ آئی یو بی فری لانسنگ سوسائٹی کے ایڈوائزر ڈاکٹر فہیم مشتاق باجوہ نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سوسائٹی کے زیر اہتمام سال بھر سٹوڈنٹس کو فری لانسنگ کے لیے مختلف ٹیکنالوجیز کی ورکشاپ اور سیمینارز کا اہتمام کیا جاتا ہے تاکہ نوجوان اپنا مستقبل سنوارنے کے ساتھ ساتھ ملک وقوم کی ترقی میں اپنا حصہ ڈال سکیں۔ انہوں نے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤوف ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افئیرز کا سوسائٹی کی سرگرمیوں کی حوصلہ افزائی پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نسرین اختر ڈین فیکلٹی آف آن لائن اینڈ ڈسٹنس ایجوکیشن نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور فاصلاتی تعلیم کے ذریعے انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی کی تدریس و تحقیق میں نمایاں کردار ادا کررہی ہے۔ ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد ڈائریکٹر پبلک ریلیشنز نے کہا کہا کہ اسوقت ملک میں فری لانسنگ کے مختلف ذرائع سے 3 ارب ڈالر کی برامدات کی جارہی ہیں جس میں نوجوانوں کی بڑھتی ہوئی تعداد سے غیر معمولی اضافہ ممکن ہے۔ حکومت پنجاب لاہور بزنس ڈسٹرکٹ میں ای بزنس اور فری لانسنگ کے لیے جدید سہولیات فراہم کررہی ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے اس سلسلے میں ڈیجیٹل ساؤتھ پنجاب، ٹیک نیشن، ای روزگار سمٹ اور ٹیک لانسر سمٹ سیریز کے ذریعے نوجوانوں کے لئے فری لانسنگ اور آن لائن کاروبار سے متعلق آگاہی فراہم کی۔ پنجاب انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی بورڈ کے ذریعے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں ٹیک پورہ کا منصوبہ ضرور پائیہ تکمیل کو پہنچے گا۔ ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس سوسائٹیز ڈاکٹر عدنان بخاری نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں سٹوڈنٹس سوسائٹیز نیٹورک کے ذرئعے فری لانسنگ کو فروغ دیا جا رہا ہے۔ نامور فری لانسر محمد توقیر نے آج کے دور میں فری لانسنگ کی اہمیت اور ضرورت پر روشنی ڈالی۔ ٹیک لانسر سمٹ کے اختتام پر ایک شاندار مشاعرے کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ صدارت معروف شاعر جناب اجمل فرید نے کی اور نظامت کے فرائض الطاف ملک کو ایڈوائزر آئی یو بی فری لانسنگ پروموشن سوسائٹی نے انجام دیئے۔ مشاعرے میں پاکستان بھر سے معروف ونامور شعرائے کرام نے شرکت کی۔ شعرائے کرام میں ڈاکٹر ذیشان اطہر، اظہر فراغ، تہذیب حافی، مژدم خان، ضیا مذکور، اعجاز رافع، حیدر بخاری، عبداللہ ضریم اور مبشر رحمان شامل تھے۔
