The Finance and Planning Committee of IUB has approved the budget for the financial year 2023-24

The Finance and Planning Committee of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has approved budget recommendations worth Rs.12,900 million (12.9 billion) for the financial year 2023-24. The meeting of the committee was held under the chairmanship of Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob Vice Chancellor at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. Prof. Dr. Abubakar Treasurer presented the budget for the new financial year. In the budget, the construction and development of the university, the promotion of research activities and the welfare and scholarships of the employees and students have been specially focused in the budget. An amount of Rs.2,500 million has been allocated for development expenditure. In the meeting, committee members Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad Dean Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Abdul Majid Makki Chairman Commerce Department, Prof. Dr. Raheela Khalid Qureshi, Chairperson Arabic Department, Prof. Dr. Abubakar Treasurer, Shahzad Akhtar representative secretary Punjab Ministry of Finance and Tariq Mahmood representative Higher Education Commission attended the meeting.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی فنانس اینڈ پلاننگ کمیٹی نے مالیاتی سال 2023-24 کے لیے 12900 ملین روپے (12.9ارب) مالیت کی بجٹ سفارشات کی منظوری دے دی۔ کمیٹی کا اجلاس انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر کی سربراہی میں بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔ پروفیسرڈاکٹر ابوبکر خزانہ دار نے نئے مالیاتی سال کا بجٹ پیش کیا۔ بجٹ میں یونیورسٹی کی تعمیر وترقی، تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کے فروغ اور ملازمین اور طلبا و طالبات کی فلاح وبہبود اور وظائف پر خصوصی توجہ مرکوز کی گئی ہے۔ ترقیاتی اخراجات کی مد میں 2500 ملین روپے کی رقم مختص کی گئی ہے۔ اجلاس میں کمیٹی ممبران پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد امجد ڈین فیکلٹی آف انجینئرنگ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالماجد مکی چیئرمین شعبہ کامرس، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر راحیلہ خالد قریشی، چیئرپرسن شعبہ عربی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ابوبکر خزانہ دار، شہزاد اختر نمائندہ سیکریٹری وزارت خزانہ پنجاب اورطارق محمود نمائندہ ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن نے شرکت کی۔
