The Islamia University of Bahawalpur celebrated Black Day to show solidarity with Kashmiris

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur celebrated Black Day to show solidarity with Kashmiris. On this occasion, on the direction of Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, special events, seminars and photo competitions were held in all the campuses in favor of Kashmiris right to self-determination against the aggressive occupation of occupied Kashmir. The participants said that it is difficult to find an example in the history of the world of the oppression and cruelty inflicted on the people of Kashmir. October 27, 1947 has become a dark day in history when Indian troops landed in Kashmir and the struggle for independence started from that day and till today the fourth generation of Kashmiris is fighting for their independence. Recently, the Indian government removed the special status of occupied Kashmir and the special identity of Kashmiris and made a vicious attempt to end the independence movement by dividing the region into different parts. The Bahawalpur Arts Council, in collaboration with the College of Art and Design the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, organized exhibiting works of art by teachers and students on the theme of Kashmiri struggle for freedom and violation of human rights. The students in different genres of painting, calligraphy, miniature and art presented the different chapters of the freedom movement and the eternal sacrifices of the elders, children and youth in a very impressive manner. Prof. Dr. Abu Bakar, Treasurer, Director Arts Council, Zubair Rabbani, Syndicate Member Sumaira Malik, Principal College of Art and Design Maria Ansari and students were present. Department of Pakistan Studies organized a special seminar. On the occasion, Dean Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Aftab Hussain Gillani and other teachers said that the hearts of Pakistanis beat with Kashmiris. Quaid-e-Azam had said that Kashmir is the lifeblood of Pakistan. The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, openly presented Kashmir as a global issue in the UN General Assembly, which embarrassed the Indian government and escalated the violence against Kashmiris. The day is not far when Kashmiris will breathe in the atmosphere of freedom. A large number of teachers and students participated in a special rally organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs at the Baghdad Al-Jadeed Campus to show solidarity with Kashmiris.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں کشمیری سے اظہار یکجہتی کے لیے یوم سیاہ بھر پور انداز سے منایا گیا۔ اس موقع پرانجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر کی ہدایت پر تمام کیمپسز میں کشمیریوں کے حق خودارادیت کے حق میں مقبوضہ کشمیر پر غاصبانہ قبضے کے خلاف خصوصی تقریبات سیمینار و تصاویری مقابلے منعقد ہوئے۔ شرکاء نے کہا کہ اہلیانِ کشمیر کے ساتھ جس جبر اور ظلم کا مظاہرہ کیا گیا اُس کی مثال دنیا کی تاریخ میں ملنا مشکل ہے۔ 27اکتوبر 1947کا دن تاریخ میں ایک سیاہ دن کی حیثیت اختیار کر چکا ہے جب بھارتی فوجیں کشمیر میں اُتریں اور اُس دن سے جدوجہد آزادی کا آغاز ہوا اور آج تک کشمیریوں کی چوتھی نسل اپنی آزادی کی جنگ لڑ رہی ہے۔ حال ہی میں بھارتی حکومت نے مقبوضہ کشمیر کی خصوصی حیثیت ختم کر کے کشمیریوں کی خصوصی شناخت ختم کر ڈالی اور خطہ کو مختلف حصوں میں تقسیم کر کے تحریک آزادی کو ختم کرنے کی مذموم کوشش کی۔ کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام بہاولپور آرٹس کونسل میں کشمیری جدوجہد آزادی اور انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی کے موضوع پر اساتذہ اور طلباء وطالبات کے بنائے ہوئے فن پاروں کی نمائش کا آغاز ہوگیا۔ طلباء وطالبات نے فن مصوری، خطاطی، منی ایچر اور آرٹ کی مختلف اصناف میں تحریک آزادی کے مختلف ابواب اور بزرگوں، بچوں اور نوجوانوں کی لازوال قربانیوں کو بہتر متاثر کن انداز میں پیش کیا۔اس موقع پر خزانہ دار پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ابوبکر، ڈائریکٹر آرٹس کونسل زبیر ربانی، سینڈیکیٹ ممبر سمیرا ملک، پرنسپل کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن ماریہ انصاری اور طلباء وطالبات موجود تھے۔ شعبہ پاکستان سٹڈیز نے خصوصی سیمینار منعقد کیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف لاء پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آفتاب حسین گیلانی اور دیگر اساتذہ نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاکستانیوں کے دل کشمیریوں کے ساتھ دھٹرکتے ہیں۔ قائداعظم نے کہا تھا کہ کشمیر پاکستان کی شہ رگ ہے۔ وزیر اعظم پاکستان عمران خان نے کشمیر کوواشگاف انداز میں اقوام متحدہ کی جنرل اسمبلی میں ایک عالمی مسئلے کے طور پر پیش کیا جس کے نتیجے میں بھارتی حکومت بوکھلاہٹ کی شکار ہو گئی اور کشمیریوں پر جبر و تشدد میں اضافہ کر دیا۔ وہ دن دور نہیں کہ جب کشمیری آزاد ی کی فضاؤں میں سانس لے گے۔ ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس آفیئرز کے زیر اہتمام بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں کشمیریوں سے اظہار ِ یکجہتی کے لیے خصوصی ریلی میں اساتذہ اور طلباء وطالبات نے کثیر تعداد میں شرکت کی۔
