Bahawalpur (PR) The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is celebrating Shan e Rehmatul Ul Alameen week. In this regard, inter-faculty competitions, recitation of Naat and Quran and special seminars are being organized. Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur said in his message that as soon as the auspicious month of Rabi-ul-Awwal begins, the Muslims of the whole world come together with enthusiasm to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) in the entire Islamic world. They organize special gatherings of darood us salaam and celebrate Milad-ul-Nabi (peace be upon him). History tells us that in the sixth century A.D., the moral, spiritual and political condition of the people of the world had reached an extreme level of degradation and there was a period of oppression, polytheism, ignorance, hypocrisy and rebellion everywhere. In such circumstances, the God of the Worlds raised this Prophet (peace be upon him) to turn the darkness of the Valley of Batah and the entire world into light, knowledge, guidance, intuition and mysticism, which enlightened the whole world. Like other Prophets, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was not sent to specific languages, specific places and specific nations, rather, he was sent to all times and all places, but to all worlds and creations. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last prophet and after him (peace be upon him), God ended the chain of Prophethood. Therefore, it has been proven that the message of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) i.e. the Holy Qur'an and the Sharia, will remain for the rest of the world. There are several hadiths of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in which both men and women are urged to get education. Today, the Muslim Ummah can progress only if education is included in the top priorities and full attention is paid to religious studies as well as social and scientific studies. As during the period of the rise of Islam, Muslims were unique in all sciences and arts and ruled the world. The development and stability of our dear country Pakistan lies in education. Jamia Islamia is the largest historical educational institution of South Punjab which was established on the model of Jamia Al-Azhar. The Seerat Chair established in the Faculty of Islamic Learning is carrying out the duty of research and compilation on Seerat Tayyaba in a very active manner. Seven international conferences have also been organized in this regard. Today, the world of Islam should renew the promise on the birthday of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) that we will follow this path and make the Sunnah of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) alive. May Allah grant us the fiqh so that we live according to the will of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) and follow the teachings of Islam and the Qur'an in this life and in the Hereafter.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں عشرہ شان رحمت الاالعالمینﷺ منایا جارہا ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں انٹر فیکلٹیز مقابلے، قرأت و نعت خوانی اور خصوصی سیمینار منعقد کیے جارہے ہیں۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ ربیع الاول کا مبارک مہینہ شروع ہوتے ہی پوری دنیا کے مسلمان جوش و خروش سے آقائے دو جہاں سرور کون و مکاں ﷺ کی ولادت باسعادت کی خوشی میں پورے عالم اسلام میں درود و سلام کی خصوصی محافل منعقد کرتے ہیں اور میلادالنبیﷺ کی خوشی مناتے ہیں۔ تاریخ بتاتی ہے کہ چھٹی صدی عیسوی میں اہلِ عالم کی اخلاقی، روحانی اور سیاسی حالت انتہا درجے کی پستی تک پہنچ چکی تھی اور ہر طرف ظلم وجور، شرک، جہالت، منافقت اور سرکشی کا دور دورہ تھا۔ تمام انبیائے سابقین علیہم السلام کی تعلیمات کفر کے دبیز پردوں میں چھپ چکی تھیں۔ ایسے حالات میں رب العالمین نے وادی بطحیٰ اور تمام عالم کے اندھیروں کو نور، علم و ہدایت اور وجدان و عرفان میں بدلنے کے لیے اس سراج منیر ﷺ کو طلوع کردیا جس نے پوری دنیا کو منور کردیا۔ حضور سرور کائناتﷺ دوسرے انبیاء کی طرح خاص زبانوں، خاص مقامات اور خاص قوموں کے لیے مبعوث نہیں کیے گئے بلکہ آپ ﷺ ہر زمانے اور ہر مقام کے لیے بلکہ تمام جہانوں اور مخلوقات کے لیے بھیجے گئے۔ نبی اکرم ﷺ آخری نبیؐ ہیں اور آپ ﷺکے بعد اللہ سبحانہ تعالی نے نبوت کا سلسلہ ختم کردیا۔ اس لیے یہ بات ثابت ہوگئی کہ رہتی دنیا تک آپ ﷺ کا پیغام یعنی قرآن مجید اور شریعت باقی رہے گی۔ ہر مسلمان معلم اور متعلم کے لیے حضور نبی اکرم ﷺ کی پسندیدہ دعا ”رب زدنی علما“ یعنی اے رب میرے علم میں اضافہ فرما۔ اس دعا سے ہر مسلمان کو یہ درس ملتا ہے کہ حصول علم کی اسلام میں کس قدر اہمیت ہے۔ متعدد احادیث نبوی ﷺ موجود ہیں جن میں تعلیم حاصل کرنے کے لیے مردوزن دونوں کو تاکید کی گئی ہے۔ آج امت مسلمہ صرف اس صورت میں ترقی کرسکتی ہے جب تعلیم کو اولین ترجیحات میں شامل کرلیا جائے اور دینی علوم کے ساتھ ساتھ معاشرتی اور سائنسی علوم پر بھی بھر پور توجہ دی جائے۔ جیسا کہ اسلامی عروج کے دور میں مسلمان تمام علوم وفنون میں طاق اور دنیا پر حکمران تھے۔ وطن عزیز پاکستان کی ترقی اور استحکام کا راز تعلیم میں ہی پنہاں ہے۔ جامعہ اسلامیہ جنوبی پنجاب کی سب سے بڑی تاریخی درسگاہ ہے جو جامعہ الازہر کے ماڈل پر قائم کی گئی۔ فیکلٹی آف اسلامک لرننگ میں قائم سیرت چیئر، سیرت طیبہ پر انتہائی فعال انداز میں تحقیق و تالیف کا فریضہ سرانجام دے رہی ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں سات بین الاقوامی کانفرنسز بھی منعقد کرائی جاچکی ہیں۔ آج دنیائے اسلام کو چاہیے کہ حضور اکرم ﷺ کے یوم ولادت پر اس عہد کی تجدید کرے کہ ہم اس راہ پر چل کر حضور اکرم ﷺ کی سنت کو زندہ جاوید بنائیں گے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں توفیق عطا فرمائے کہ ہم اللہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺکی مرضی کے مطابق زندگی گزاریں اور اسلام اور قرآن کی تعلیمات اپنا کر دنیا و آخرت میں سرخرو ہوں
