The Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized events on the occasion of Punjab Cultural Day in all campuses

On the direction of Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized events on the occasion of Punjab Cultural Day in all campuses of Islamia University Bahawalpur. These events include seminars, exhibitions and cultural performances. A cultural walk was organized in connection with the Punjab Cultural Day celebrations with the support of the district administration, in which students and faculty of the University College of Art and Design participated in large numbers. IUB flower stall was also set up in this cultural walk. College of Art and Design presented the cultural clothes, ornaments and precious items of Punjab for exhibition. Students organized a seminar on the uniqueness of the culture of Punjab organized by Cultural Promotion Society. College of Art and Design students performed folk dance to the beat of drums and presented a photo exhibition at the Hakra Art Gallery. Students wore traditional clothes highlighting Punjabi culture. Apart from this, a Kabaddi match was organized in the traditional sports of Punjab in the Directorate of Sports.

 انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی ہدایت پر پنجاب کلچرل ڈے کی مناسبت سے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے تمام کیمپسز میں تقریبات منعقد ہوئیں۔ ان تقریبات میں سیمینارز، نمائشیں اور ثقافتی پرفارمنسزشامل ہیں۔ ضلعی انتظامیہ کے تعاون سے  پنجاب کلچرل ڈے کی تقریبات کے سلسلے میں کلچرل واک کا اہتمام کیا گیا جس میں یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کے طلباء وطالبات اور فیکلٹی نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی۔ اس کلچرل واک میں آئی یو بی فلاور سٹال بھی لگایا گیا۔ طلباء نے مختلف ملبوسات پہن کر مختلف کلچر کی نمائندگی کی اور مختلف پرفارمنس پیش کیں اورپینٹنگ اور آرٹ کی نمائش کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن نے پنجاب کے ثقافتی لباس، زیورات اور قیمتی اشیاء نمائش کے لیے پیش کی گئیں۔ کلچرل پروموشن سوسائٹی کے زیر اہتمام پنجاب کی ثقافت کی انفرادیت کے موضوع پر طلباء اور طالبات نے ایک سیمینار منعقد کیا۔ کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن میں طلبا ء اور طالبات نے ڈھول کی تھاپ پر لوک رقص پیش کیا اور ہاکڑہ آرٹ گیلری میں تصویری نمائش پیش کی۔ طلباء اور طالبات کے پنجاب کلچر کو نمایاں کرتے ہوئے روایتی لباس پہنے۔ اس کے علاوہ ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سپورٹس میں پنجاب کے روائتی کھیلوں میں کبڈی میچ کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔
