Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that the relationship of trust between the teachers and parents of the university has been established since the last 100 years. Thanks to this sincerity and trust, thousands of daughters and sons have graduated from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and today they are making the name of their parents, region, university and Pakistan famous all over the world. He said that mutual communication and trust between teachers and parents will be further promoted and strengthened. Special measures are being taken for mutual coordination between teachers and parents in all teaching departments under the supervision of Deans. Parents can visit teaching departments, hostels and university office at any time and get information and give suggestions regarding their children's curricular and co-curricular activities. The Vice-Chancellor further said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a standard educational institution not only of Pakistan but also of world level and its sanctity and respect is the duty of all of us. He said that various organizations are investigating the recent incidents. The Chief Minister of Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has also given a special message in this regard that mothers should be reassured that their daughters are safe in the university and he has also asked to form a judicial commission in this regard. Governor Punjab Engr. Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman also addressed the teachers and students during the recent visit and said that the incident was exaggerated and dirty videos from around the world were linked to the university. Higher Education Commission South Punjab has also investigated the incident and the results are awaited. Similarly, a special committee set up by the Higher Education Commission has spent the last three days investigating the Islamia University. He said that after the results of these investigations, the recommendations will be fully implemented and the guilty will be punished. Action against the responsible employees has also been started in this regard. The Vice-Chancellor said that the admission campaign for autumn semester 2023 is going on in the university and the students and parents are being welcomed in this regard. The Vice-Chancellor further said that the Independence Day celebrations will be celebrated in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur with traditional grandeur and in this regard, seminars, walks, quizzes, art and speech, essay writing competitions are going on in all the campuses. پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے کہا ہے کہ جامعہ کے اساتذہ اور والدین کے مابین اعتماد کا رشتہ گزشتہ 100 سال سے استوار ہے۔ اس خلوص اور اعتماد کی بدولت ہزاروں کی تعداد میں بیٹیاں اور بیٹے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور سے فارغ التحصیل ہوئے اور آج دنیا بھر میں اپنے والدین، علاقے، یونیورسٹی اور پاکستان کا نام روشن کر رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اساتذہ اور والدین کے درمیان باہمی رابطے اور اعتماد کو مزید فروغ دیا جائے گا۔ ڈینز کی نگرانی میں تمام تدریسی شعبہ جات میں اساتذہ اور والدین میں باہمی رابطہ کاری کے لیے خصوصی اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ والدین کسی بھی وقت تدریسی شعبہ جات، ہاسٹل اور یونیورسٹی کے دفتر کا دورہ کر سکتے ہیں اور اپنے بچوں کی نصابی اور ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں سے متعلق معلومات حاصل کر سکتے ہیں اور تجاویز دے سکتے ہیں۔ وائس چانسلر نے مزید کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نا صرف پاکستان بلکہ عالمی سطح کا معیاری تعلیمی ادارہ ہے اور اس کی حرمت اور تقدس ہم سب پر فرض ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حالیہ واقعات کی مختلف ادارے تحقیقات کر رہے ہیں۔ وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب سید محسن رضا نقوی اس سلسلے میں خصوصی پیغام بھی دے چکے ہیں کہ مائیں اطمینان رکھیں ان کی بیٹیاں جامعہ میں محفوظ ہیں اور انہوں نے اس سلسلے میں جوڈیشل کمیشن بھی تشکیل دینے کا کہا دیا ہے۔ گورنر پنجاب انجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمن نے بھی حالیہ دورے کے دوران اساتذہ اور طلباء سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ واقعہ کو بڑھا چڑھا کر پیش کیا گیا اور دنیا بھر کی گندی اور غلیظ ویڈیوز کو یونیورسٹی سے منسلک کر دیا گیا۔ ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن ساؤتھ پنجاب بھی واقع کی تحقیقات کر چکا ہے اور نتائج کا انتظار ہے۔ اسی طرح ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی قائم کی گئی خصوصی کمیٹی نے گزشتہ تین دن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی میں تحقیقات میں گزارے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ان تحقیقات کے نتائج کے بعد سفارشات پر مکمل عمل کیا جائے گا اور قصور واروں کو سزا دی جائے گی۔ اس سلسلے میں ذمہ دار ملازمین کے خلاف کاروائی کا آغاز بھی ہو چکا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی میں خزاں سیمسٹر کی داخلہ مہم جاری ہے اور اس سلسلے میں آنے والے طلباء وطالبات اور والدین کو خوش آمدید کہا جا رہا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے مزید کہا کہ یوم آزادی کی تقریبات اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں روایتی شان و شوکت سے منائی جائیں گی اور اس سلسلے میں تمام کیمپسز میں سیمینار، واک، کوئز، آرٹ و تقریری، مضمون نویسی کے مقابلے جاری ہیں۔ 14 اگست کی صبح عباسیہ کیمپس میں پرچم کشائی کی مرکزی تقریب منعقد ہو گی جس میں اساتذہ، ملازمین اور طلباء و طالبات شریک ہوں گے۔
