Bahawalpur () The two-day international conference on the theme of religious tolerance for a sustainable world has concluded at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Dr. Ehtisham Anwar was the chief guest of the concluding session. Senior Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum was the guest of honor on this occasion. In this conference, from many countries including Pakistan, Brunei Darussalam, USA, Uganda, Belgium and Malaysia eminent scholars like Prof. Dr. Harman, Prof. Dr. Kalsoom Pracha, Vice Chancellor Women University Multan, Prof. Dr. Saeed ur Rahman, Chairman Department of Islamic Studies, Institute of Southern Punjab, Dr. Abdul Samad, Dr. Ayesha Qurarat Al-Ain and Allah Bakhsh Kuliar member Nazriati council participated. Two parallel sessions were held on the final day. Among them, the role of world peace in religious freedom and human rights, a comprehensive approach in religious affairs, the role of tolerance and religious harmony in religious affairs, the behavior of Muslim governments with minorities, interfaith harmony and psychological understanding in international relations, role of religious freedom and world peace in human rights, stability of mutual tolerance among religious groups, role of inter-religious harmony in social development, climate change mitigation, research on the role and effects of inter-religious organizations under the United Nations. The review, the role of religious development in economic development and stability, the services of the Christian, Hindu and Sikh communities in Pakistani society included important topics. Dean Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies Pro. Dr. Sheikh Shafiq ur Rehman and focal person of the conference Dr. Sajeela Kausar thanked the domestic and foreign delegates who participated in the conference. Dr. Sajeela Kausar presented the recommendations of the conference, the key points of which were to promote interfaith dialogue and cooperation to promote understanding and unity among diverse religious communities. Implement educational programs that teach tolerance, empathy and respect for all faiths from an early age to foster a culture of religious harmony. Develop policies and initiatives that encourage environmental responsibility and sustainability based on religious teachings and beliefs. Advocate for religious freedom and human rights as essential components of world peace and harmony. Support grassroots interfaith initiatives that promote social justice, equity and inclusion within communities. Empower youth to play an active role in interfaith engagement and efforts to build bridges for sustainable cooperation and peace. Use digital media platforms responsibly to combat religious misunderstandings, promote dialogue and bridge divisions. Engage religious leaders and institutions in promoting ethical economic practices that prioritize social responsibility and equitable development. Encourage cultural exchange and cooperation among religious communities to address common social challenges. Promote research and scholarship on interfaith harmony and peace-building to advance understanding and evidence-based practices. Invest in capacity-building programs that empower religious leaders to be agents of positive change and reconciliation in their communities. Establish interfaith councils or forums at local, national, and international levels to facilitate ongoing dialogue and collaboration. Integrate religious perspectives and values into the policy-making process to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive approach to addressing global challenges. Provide support for faith-based humanitarian and charitable initiatives promoting compassion, empathy and solidarity across religious lines. Celebrate and promote the rich diversity of religious traditions while recognizing the common humanity that unites us all. These recommendations will be forwarded to the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and other religious institutions.

بہاول پور () اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں پائیدار دنیا کے لیے مذہبی رواداری کے موضوع پر منعقد ہونے والی دو روزہ بین الاقوامی کانفرنس اختتام پذیر ہوگئی۔ کمشنر بہاول پور ڈویژن ڈاکٹر احتشام انور اختتامی سیشن کے مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ اس موقع پر سینئر ڈین فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم مہمان اعزاز تھیں۔ اس کانفرنس میں پاکستان، برونائی دار السلام، امریکہ، یوگنڈا، بیلجیم اور ملائشیا سمیت متعدد ممالک سے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ہرمن، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر کلثوم پراچہ وائس چانسلر ویمن یونیورسٹی ملتان، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید الرحمن چیئرمین ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف اسلامک اسٹڈیز انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف سدرن پنجاب، ڈاکٹر عبدالصمد، ڈاکٹر عائشہ قرأۃ العین اور اللہ بخش کلیار ممبر نظریاتی کونسل شریک ہوئے۔ اختتامی روز دو متوازی سیشن منعقد ہوئے۔ جن میں مذہبی آزادی اور انسانی حقوق میں عالمی امن کا کردار، مذہبی امور میں جامع نقطہ نظر، رواداری اور مذہبی امور میں مذہبی ہم آہنگی کا کردار، اقلیتوں کے ساتھ مسلمان حکومتوں کا طرز عمل، بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی اور عالمی تعلقات میں نفسیات فہمی کا کردار، مذہبی آزادی اور انسانی حقوق میں عالمی امن کا کردار، مذہبی فرقوں میں باہمی رواداری کا استحکام، سماجی ترقی میں بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی کا کردار، موسمی تبدیلیوں کا تدارک، اقوام متحدہ کے تحت بین المذاہب تنظیموں کے کردار و اثرات کا تحقیقی جائزہ، اقتصادی ترقی اور استحکام میں مذہبی ترقی کا کردار، پاکستانی معاشرے میں مسیحی، ہندو اور سکھ برادری کی خدمات جیسے امور اہم موضوعات شامل تھے۔ ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عربیک اسٹڈیز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن اور کانفرنس کی فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کوثر نے کانفرنس میں شریک ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کوثر نے کانفرنس کی سفارشات پیش کیں جن کے اہم نکات میں متنوع مذہبی کمیونٹیز کے درمیان افہام و تفہیم اور اتحاد کو فروغ دینے کے لیے بین المذاہب مکالمے اور تعاون کو فروغ دیں۔ ایسے تعلیمی پروگراموں کو نافذ کریں جو مذہبی ہم آہنگی کی ثقافت کو فروغ دینے کے لیے ابتدائی عمر سے ہی تمام عقائد کے لیے رواداری، ہمدردی اور احترام سکھاتے ہیں۔ ایسی پالیسیاں اور اقدامات تیار کریں جو مذہبی تعلیمات اور عقائد پر مبنی ماحولیاتی ذمہ داری اور پائیداری کی حوصلہ افزائی کریں۔ عالمی امن اور ہم آہنگی کے لازمی اجزاء کے طور پر مذہبی آزادی اور انسانی حقوق کی وکالت کریں۔ نچلی سطح پر بین المذاہب اقدامات کی حمایت کریں جو کمیونٹیز کے اندر سماجی انصاف، مساوات اور شمولیت کو فروغ دیتے ہیں۔ نوجوانوں کو بااختیار بنائیں کہ وہ بین المذاہب مشغولیت اور پائیدار تعاون اور امن کے لیے پل بنانے کی کوششوں میں فعال کردار ادا کریں۔ مذہبی غلط فہمیوں کا مقابلہ کرنے، مکالمے کو فروغ دینے اور تقسیم کو ختم کرنے کے لیے ڈیجیٹل میڈیا پلیٹ فارمز کو ذمہ داری کے ساتھ استعمال کریں۔ مذہبی رہنماؤں اور اداروں کو اخلاقی معاشی طریقوں کو فروغ دینے میں مشغول کریں جو سماجی ذمہ داری اور مساوی ترقی کو ترجیح دیتے ہیں۔ مشترکہ سماجی چیلنجوں سے نمٹنے کے لیے مذہبی برادریوں کے درمیان ثقافتی تبادلے اور تعاون کی حوصلہ افزائی کریں۔ تفہیم اور شواہد پر مبنی طریقوں کو آگے بڑھانے کے لیے بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی اور امن کی تعمیر پر تحقیق اور اسکالرشپ کو فروغ دیں۔ صلاحیت سازی کے پروگراموں میں سرمایہ کاری کریں جو مذہبی رہنماؤں کو اپنی برادریوں میں مثبت تبدیلی اور مفاہمت کے ایجنٹ بننے کے لیے بااختیار بناتے ہیں۔ مقامی، قومی اور بین الاقوامی سطح پر بین المذاہب کونسلز یا فورمز قائم کریں تاکہ جاری بات چیت اور تعاون کو آسان بنایا جا سکے۔ عالمی چیلنجوں سے نمٹنے کے لیے جامع اور جامع نقطہ نظر کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے پالیسی سازی کے عمل میں مذہبی نقطہ نظر اور اقدار کو شامل کریں۔ مذہبی خطوط پر ہمدردی، ہمدردی اور یکجہتی کو فروغ دینے والے عقیدے پر مبنی انسانی اور خیراتی اقدامات کے لیے تعاون فراہم کریں۔ ہم سب کو متحد کرنے والی مشترکہ انسانیت کو تسلیم کرتے ہوئے مذہبی روایات کے بھرپور تنوع کو منائیں اور فروغ دیں۔ یہ سفارشات وفاقی وزیر برائے مذہبی امور اور دیگر مذہبی اداروں کو بھیجی جائے گی۔
