Three IUB faculty members included in World's top most cited Scientists

The three faculty members of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur have been included in the Stanford University’s list of World top most cited Scientists. The report was prepared by Prof. John PA Loannidis at Stanford University and his team. The US-based Stanford University has released a list that represents the top 2 % of the most-cited scientists in various disciplines. The exhaustive list has 1,59,683 persons with 3 scientists from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The 03 faculty members included Dr. Zaheer Abbas and Dr. Ghulam Abbas from the Department of Mathematics and Dr. Muhammad Azhar Khan from Department of Physics. Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor has felicitated the faculty members on achieving excellence is research publications and said that this success depicts global vision of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے تین اساتذہ سٹینفرڈ یونیورسٹی امریکی کی جاری کی گئی حالیہ رپورٹ کے مطابق ٹاپ عالمی سائنسدانوں کی فہرست میں شامل کئے گئے ہیں۔ نامور پروفیسرجان پی۔اے لونائیڈیز کی جانب سے تیار کردہ انٹرنیشنل رپورٹ میں دنیا بھر میں مختلف شعبوں میں کام کرنے والے محققین اور سائنسدانون کی لسٹ جاری کی گئی ہے جس میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے تین اساتذہ شامل ہیں ان تین اساتذہ میں ڈاکٹر ظہیرعباس، ڈاکٹر غلام عباس شعبہ ریاضی سے اور ڈاکٹر اظہر خا ن انسٹیٹیوٹ آف فزکس سے شامل ہیں۔ ان اساتذہ کی عالمی سطح پر کامیابی پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے مبارکباد دی اور کہا کہ یہ کامیابی جامعہ اسلامیہ بہاولپورکے عالمی ویژن کی عکاس ہے۔
