VC Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar wrote a letter to the teaching heads to promote interaction between parents and teachers

Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar has written a letter to the Heads of Teaching Departments to promote interaction between teachers and parents in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Vice-Chancellor has told all the Chairmen, Chairpersons and Heads of Departments that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is an ancient institution of learning which has been equipping students from all parts of South Punjab and Pakistan with the jewel of education for decades. In order to increase the performance of students in teaching and research quality, interaction between teachers and parents is very important. A conducive environment in the university is not possible without the trust and confidence of the parents. For this purpose, it is important that the relationship between teachers and parents is strong. Regular meetings between parents and faculty members, curricular and co-curricular activities of students, mutual interaction are very important for improvement of campus environment which will improve the performance and reputation of the institution. The Vice-Chancellor asked the heads of the teaching departments to ensure direct communication with the students, especially the parents of the female students. Inform them about the performance of the students as well as the measures taken for the improvement and development of the campus environment, discipline and institution. Highlight campus activities and the diversity of faculty and students on social media and other platforms. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a proud institution for teachers, students and parents. This sense of belonging and pride can be harnessed to improve the organization through individual and collective efforts. Our high moral values, attachment and love for the institution and country and the atmosphere of mutual trust will give rise to the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. On the direction of the Vice-Chancellor, the said letter has been conveyed to the heads of the teaching departments of all the campuses.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر نے جامعہ اسلامیہ میں اساتذہ اور والدین میں باہمی روابط کے فروغ کے لیے تدریسی شعبہ جات کے سربراہان کو خط لکھ دیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے تمام چیئرمین اور ہیڈز آف ڈیپارٹمنٹس سے کہا ہے کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور ایک قدیم دانش گاہ ہے جو کئی دہائیوں سے جنوبی پنجاب اور پاکستان کے تمام علاقوں سے آئے ہوئے طالب علموں کو تعلیم کے زیور سے آراستہ کر رہی ہے۔ تدریسی و تحقیقی معیار میں طلباء وطالبات کی کارکردگی میں اضافے کے لیے، اساتذہ اور والدین کا باہمی رابطہ بہت ضروری ہے۔ یونیورسٹی میں سازگار ماحول، والدین کے اعتماد اور بھروسے کے بغیر ممکن نہیں ہے۔ اس مقصد کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ اساتذہ اور والدین کا باہمی تعلق مضبوط ہو۔ والدین اور فیکلٹی ممبران کے درمیان باقاعدہ ملاقاتیں، طلباء کی نصابی اور ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں، کیمپس کے ماحول کی بہتری کے لیے باہمی تبادلہ خیال بہت ضروری ہے جس سے ادارے کی کارکردگی اور شہرت میں بہتری آئے گی۔ وائس چانسلر نے تدریسی شعبہ جات کے سربراہان سے کہا کہ طلباء خصوصاً طالبات کے والدین سے براہ راست رابطے کو یقینی بنائیں۔ انہیں طالب علموں کی کارکردگی کے ساتھ ساتھ کیمپس کے ماحول، نظم و ضبط اور ادارے کی بہتری اور ترقی کے لیے کیے گئے اقدامات سے آگاہ کریں۔ سوشل میڈیا اور دیگر پلیٹ فارم پر کیمپس میں جاری سرگرمیوں اور اساتذہ اور طلباء و طالبات کے تنوع کو اُجاگر کریں۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اساتذہ، طلباء وطالبات اور والدین کے لیے قابل فخر ادارہ ہے۔ اس تعلق اور افتخار کے احساس کو انفرادی اور اجتماعی کاوشوں سے بہتر بنا کر ادارے کی ترقی کے لیے استعمال کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ ہماری اعلیٰ اخلاقی اقدار، ادارے اور وطن سے لگاؤ اور محبت اور باہمی اعتماد کی فضاء ہی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کو عروج عطا کرے گی۔ وائس چانسلر کی ہدایت پر مذکورہ خط کو تمام کیمپسز کے تدریسی شعبہ جات کے سربراہان تک پہنچا دیا گیا ہے۔
