Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran talks to faculty members and alumni, announces major change in AI curriculum

Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, has said that from the next semester, the curriculum is being equipped with courses on artificial intelligence. In the future, only those graduates who have access to artificial intelligence will be able to find a place in the domestic and foreign job market. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views while talking to university teachers and alumni. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr. Muhammad Amjad, Registrar Muhammad Shaji ur Rehman, Director Public Relations Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid and alumni Dr. Shahab Yasin, Shahroz Ashraf and others were present. The Vice Chancellor said that artificial intelligence modules and programs are being included in the fields of media studies, mathematics, climate sciences and quantum computing. He said that along with teachers, alumni also have an important role in the university admission campaign and university alumni members have supported the university at every step and are also actively participating in the fall admission campaign.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا ہے کہ آئندہ سیمسٹر سے تدریسی نصاب کو آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس کے کورسز سے لیس کیا جارہا ہے۔ مستقبل میں ملکی اور غیر ملکی جاب مارکیٹ میں وہی گریجویٹس جگہ بناپایئں گے جنہیں آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس پر دسترس حاصل ہوگی۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار یونیورسٹی اساتذہ اور ایلومینائی سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد امجد، رجسٹرار محمد شجیع الرحمن ، ڈائریکٹر پبلک ریلیشنز ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد اور ایلومینائی ڈاکٹرشہاب یاسین، شہروز اشرف و دیگر موجود تھے۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ میڈیا اسٹڈیز ، ریاضی، کلائمیٹ سائنسز اور کوانٹم کیمپوٹنگ کے شعبوں میں آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس کے ماڈیولز اور پروگرام شامل کیے جارہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی داخلہ مہم میں اساتذہ کے ساتھ ساتھ ایلومینائی کا بھی اہم کردار ہے اور یونیورسٹی ایلومینائی ممبران نے ہر قدم پر جامعہ کا ساتھ دیا ہے اور فال ایڈمیشن مہم میں بھی بھرپور حصہ لے رہے ہیں۔
