Worthy VC Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob Honors the ORIC team for Achieving HEC Recognition

Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has been recognized by the Higher Education Commission after almost 11 years. In this regard, a ceremony was held at the Vice Chancellor's Secretariat, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. Vice-Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob said in his presidential address that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has made its name known worldwide in quality research. The research activities of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur are aligned with the country's aspirations and needs. Special prizes are awarded to encourage research. Director ORIC Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif briefed the participants in detail about the steps to be taken for this success. He added that sustainability and development is the real challenge. The participants of the meeting appreciated the efforts made by ORIC for this achievement and assured support from the faculty and administration to take the research to the next level in the coming time. In the concluding remarks, the Vice-Chancellor presented the ORIC team with a commemorative shield titled "A Day to Remember". In the event, Moeed Abid, Deputy Registrar ORIC welcomed the participants and gave a briefing regarding the research projects and research of Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC). The Vice Chancellor distributed certificates of appreciation to the ORIC team.

آفس آف ریسرچ، انوویشن اینڈ کمرشلائزیشن (اورک) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کو تقریبا 11 سال بعد ہائیر ایجوکیشن کمیشن نے تسلیم کر لیا ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں وائس چانسلرز سیکریٹریٹ بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں ایک تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے صدارتی خطاب میں کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے معیاری تحقیق میں دنیا بھر میں اپنا نام روشن کیا ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی تحقیقی سرگرمیاں ملکی امنگوں اور ضروریات سے ہم آہنگ ہیں۔ تحقیق کی حوصلہ افزائی کے لیے خصوصی انعامات سے نوازا جاتا ہے۔ ڈائریکٹر اورک پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عاطف نے شرکاء کو اس کامیابی کے لیے کیے جانے والے اقدامات کے بارے میں تفصیلی آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پائیداری اور ترقی اصل چیلنج ہے۔ اجلاس کے شرکاء نے اس کامیابی کے لیے اورک کی طرف سے کی جانے والی کوششوں کو سراہا اور آنے والے وقت میں ریسرچ کو اگلے درجے تک لے جانے کے لیے فیکلٹی اور انتظامیہ کی طرف سے تعاون کی یقین دہانی کرائی۔ اختتامی کلمات میں وائس چانسلر نے اورک ٹیم کو یاد گاری شیلڈ جس کا عنوان ''یاد رکھنے کا دن ہے'' سے نوازا۔ تقریب میں معید عابد ڈپٹی رجسٹرار اورک نے شرکاء کو خوش آمدید کہا اور آفس آف ریسرچ، انوویشن اینڈ کمرشلائزیشن (اورک) کے تحقیقی منصوبوں اور ریسرچ کے حوالے سے بریفنگ دی۔ وائس چانسلر نے اورک ٹیم میں تعریفی اسناد تقسیم کیں۔
