Worthy Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob made a detailed visit to the Bahawalnagar Campus

Bahawalpur (PR) Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob has said that the success and development projects of Bahawalnagar Campus in the field of teaching are an example. In the last three years, the number of students in the campus has increased from 1500 to 8500 and the number of faculty members has increased to 105. Governor Punjab and Chancellor Engineer Muhammad Balighur Rahman has appreciated the educational and development projects of Bahawalnagar Campus and will visit the campus soon. The Vice-Chancellor expressed these views while meeting teachers, officers, civil society representatives and students during his visit to the Bahawalnagar campus. He said that the local community of Bahawalnagar is educationally oriented and Bahawalnagar campus has always received local support and support. This is the reason why the campus developed very fast. The quality of teaching in the campus is excellent and the students are being taught modern teaching methods through modern teaching smart classrooms. He appreciated the teaching, administrative, development issues and performance of Campus Director Dr. Rafaqat Ali. The Vice-Chancellor also visited the newly constructed guest house, academic block extension, girls hostel extension, campus director's residence, water tank and parking shed in the campus. He also appreciated the landscaping and beauty of the campus. Campus Director Dr. Rafaqat Ali said in his briefing that at present two campuses of the university are established in Bahawalnagar and new departments have been established in accordance with the vision of the Vice-Chancellor due to the great academic trend of the students. The number of faculty increased and large-scale development projects were implemented. Currently, the transport fleet of the campus is providing travel facilities to the students of Haroonabad and Manchanabad as well as the city and the Vice Chancellor has also approved the provision of more buses. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jameel Registrar, Prof. Dr. Abubakar Treasurer, Director of Campus Dr. Rafaqat Ali, Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha Director of Advanced Studies and Chairman of Social Work Department, Rizwan Majeed Director IT, Shahzad Ahmed Khalid Director Press Media and Publications, Dr. Azhar Hussain Director Alumni Affairs, Makshof Ahmed Director Academics, Farkhunda Tahseen Director Planning and Development, Shahzad Asif Qureshi Project Director, Arif Ramooz Additional Registrar, Zafar Abbas Additional Registrar, Faseehuddin Gillani Executive Engineer, Asad Ali Additional Director and other senior officials were also present.

بہاول پور (پ ر)وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے کہا ہے کہ بہاولنگر کیمپس کی تدریسی میدان میں کامیابیاں اور ترقیاتی منصوبے اپنی مثال آپ ہے ۔گزشتہ تین برسوں میں کیمپس میں طلباء کی تعداد 1500سے بڑھ کر 8500 ہو گئی اور فیکلٹی ممبران کی تعداد 105 ہو گئی ہے ۔ گورنر پنجاب وچانسلر انجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمن نے بہاولنگر کیمپس کے تعلیمی و ترقیاتی منصوبوں کو سراہا ہے اور جلد ہی کیمپس کا دورہ کریں گے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار بہاولنگر کیمپس کے دورے کےدوران اساتذہ ، افسران ، سول سوسائٹی کے نمائندوں اور طلباء وطالبات سے ملاقات کے دوران کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بہاولنگر کی مقامی کمیونٹی تعلیمی رجحان رکھتی ہے اور بہاولنگر کیمپس کو ہمیشہ مقامی سطح پر تعاون اور مدد ملی ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ کیمپس نے بہت تیزی سے ترقی کی ۔ کیمپس کا تدریسی معیار شاندار ہے اور طلباء و طالبات کو جدید تدریسی سمارٹ کلاس رومز کے ذریعے دور حاضر کے طریقہ کار سے تعلیم دی جا رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کیمپس ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر رفاقت علی کی تدریسی، انتظامی ، ترقیاتی امور اور کارکردگی کو سراہا۔ وائس چانسلر نے کیمپس میں نو تعمیر شدہ گیسٹ ہائوس ، اکیڈمک بلاک کے توسیع حصے، گرلز ہاسٹل کے توسیع کام ، کیمپس ڈائریکٹر کی رہائش گاہ، واٹر ٹینک اور پارکنگ شیڈ کا بھی دورہ کیا۔ انہوں نے کیمپس کی لینڈ سکیپنگ اور خوبصورتی کو بھی سراہا۔ کیمپس ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر رفاقت علی نے اپنی بریفنگ میں بتایا کہ اس وقت بہاولنگر میں یونیورسٹی کے دو کیمپس قائم ہیں اور طلباء وطالبات کے زبردست تعلیمی رجحان کی بدولت وائس چانسلر کے ویژن کے مطابق نئے شعبہ جات قائم کیے گئے ہیں ۔ فیکلٹی کی تعداد میں اضافہ ہوا اور بڑے پیمانے پر ترقیاتی منصوبوں پر عملدرآمد ہوا۔ اس وقت کیمپس کا ٹرانسپورٹ فلیٹ شہر کے ساتھ ساتھ ہارون آباد اور منچن آباد کے طلباء وطالبات کو سفری سہولیات فراہم کر رہا ہے اور وائس چانسلر نے مزید بسوں کی فراہمی کی بھی منظوری دی ہے۔اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر معظم جمیل رجسٹرار، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ابوبکر خزانہ دار، ڈائریکٹر کیمپس ڈاکٹر رفاقت علی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا ڈائریکٹر ایڈوانس سٹڈیز وچیئرمین شعبہ سوشل ورک، رضوان مجید ڈائریکٹر آئی ٹی، شہزاد احمد خالد ڈائریکٹر پریس میڈیا اینڈ پبلیکشنز، ڈاکٹر اظہر حسین ڈائریکٹر ایلومینائی افیئرز، مکشوف احمد ڈائریکٹر اکیڈمکس، فرخندہ تحسین ڈائریکٹر پلاننگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ، شہزاد آصف قریشی پراجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر، عارف رموز ایڈیشنل رجسٹرار، ظفر عباس ایڈیشنل رجسٹرار، فصیح الدین گیلانی ایگزیکٹو انجینئر، اسد علی ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر اور دیگر سینئر حکام بھی موجود  تھے۔
