The objective of enabling center is to address students of The Islamia university of Bahawalpur and employees’ psychologist help issues, gain insight into their feelings and thoughts and deal effectively with problems. Nearly all students and employees experience occasional difficulties that can interfere with their success of sense of wellbeing. The counselor and psychologist help to analyze and respond to internal pressures and negative attitudes towards self or others.

Through Enabling Services (ES)the counselor, psychologist, and psychiatrist will work with students and employees to help them to identify their strengths, gain insight into their ways of thinking, feeling and behaving and begin a process of change and growth. Sometime student /employees known what they need to do but they just can’t get themselves to do it. Counseling can help them understand what is getting in the way of their making the changes they want in their life.

The scope of Enabling Center I to serve students and employee who with many different types of personal concerns including anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, identify concerns, crisis needs, abuse violence issues as well as employees –job related issues, conflicts and work –life balance. This service is too available at the EC, a referral will be made to the appropriate institute. EC will provide psychological and consultation services and offer free and confidential counseling sessions, psychotherapeutic services and psychiatric follow-u to all IUB students and employees.
