Director's Message

Welcome to the Green Campus Project at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The large size public sector universities are like a small city having a vast population, area, and complex operational activities. These activities have serious environmental implications therefore, campus sustainability has become a serious issue of global concern for university administration and policymakers. An environmentally sustainable campus is considered to generate minimum environmental degradation while offering the community sustainable education and research services.

At the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, we aim to become a higher educational institution, that addresses, involves, and promotes, on a regional and global level, the minimization of negative environmental, economic, societal, and health effects generated in the use of our resources to fulfill the functions of teaching, research, outreach, and partnership. It is our commitment towards stewardship in ways to help society make the transition to sustainable lifestyles.
