The job description of the coordinator of the project

  • To watch the implementation of the overall project
  • To help all departmental heads to formulate effective action plans to achieve the objectives of the project
  • Effectively coordinate with all heads and help them to resolve their constraints in achieving the goals of the project.
  • Continuously watch the implementation of the project and update the competent authority 
  • As a team: PI, CPIs develop a partnership of the IUB with local, national, and international organization on sustainability and environmental issues

The job description of the head of energy management

  • Determine the baseline of energy: electricity and gas usage per student and per employees at campus.
  • Determine the energy usage at all department of the IUB and identify leakages and wastages.
  • Maintains records of energy usage and calculate the energy intensities of different activities taking place at the campus.  
  • Identify the measures,  recommends solutions to optimize the energy usage at the campus.
  • Develop and coordinate the preparation and maintenance of energy system cost-effectiveness studies and programs; assists in department budget preparation.
  • Promote initiatives for renewable energy production at the campus.
  • Coordinate with ongoing renewable energy activities and maintain data oftotal energy usage.
  • Monitor monthly savings in energy usage and prepare a performance report.

  •  Promote initiatives to ensure that new buildings in the university should be green buildings.

Job description head of the data management 

  • Prepare a report on baseline consumption of per head energy use, per head water use, per head petrol and diesel use, per head paper use, per head waste generated and total course on sustainability and environment being taught at the IUB campuses.
  • Update this database on monthly bases and compare it with the baseline data.

  • Collect good practices, identify viable solutions to scale up, and facilitate learning and knowledge sharing in plastic-free society development
  • Provide technical assistance and policy support on a plastic-free society.
  • Monitor monthly reduction in plastic usage and prepare a performance report.
  • Constantly evaluate the performance of the measures to reduce plastic usage and modify them accordingly.
  • Provide technical assistance to other University departments and agencies as required
